Commercial Photography Prices
Pricing commercial photography is not always as straight forward process as we all may wish to be. There are many factors on which quoting fee, for commercial photography session, will be depend upon.

When we are approached by clients, we like to look at their photographic projects from both sides. We don’t just turn up and shoot, we like to solve problems and offer sound, deliverable solutions that give them an edge and give us a challenge.
Whether your looking for simple, no frills portraits or a more involved shoot for your latest advertising campaign or annual report, we deliver above and beyond.
Customised quote
Since we don’t like hidden costs, and don’t see why you should either, we’ve listed our basic prices. We usually find it’s best for us to give you a personalised quote and are happy to provide you with a full breakdown of our rates that will clearly explain the options that best suit your exact needs.
Before we can give you an accurate quote there’s some specific information we need from you.
Every client’s project is unique and comes with specific requirements, which on its own will require extra resources and time to achieve the final result of the initial brief.
Production charges cover the cost incurred by us, the photographer, for organizing and supplying everything needed for executing the production of the images we was hired to create. For example this include assistants,logistic, studio/equipment hire, smoke machine, etc.
How many images will be needed to be processed as a final product, is another crucial component when pricing commercial photography. Post production or the editing process, sometimes it can be a very time consuming process and it all depends on the level of details needed to be enhanced or corrected.
What exactly do you want us to photograph and where will the shoot take place. Location or studio?
Will the job require more than one visit, if so roughly how many and over what time scale.
What are you going to use the final images for web, print, editorial, general promotion etc.
Will you be using your images for an international print/billboard marketing campaign.
Studio 17 commercial photographers
as a very rough guide for our commercial photography services. Entry points are from as low as £125 per hour, so we can fit within most marketing budgets.
A half day is typically 4 hrs £400 and a full day typically 7.5 hrs £700. Most of our work is charged at the Standard rate.

360° product photography
360° Product Photography Service
How much 360° product photography service costs? In-house 360° product photography
your product – Is it easy to rotate on a turntable? Will it wobble? Will it require hanging? Does it require special preparations? The size? – Some product (e.g. a laptop, a glass, a TV set, a tire, shoes etc.) are easy to be placed and rotated on a table, while the others (e.g. bags with straps, a necklace, a ceiling lamp, etc.) require suspension,

We produce 360 spins in 12, 24, 36 and 72 frames depending on your desired smoothness of the spin.
The most common question we receive “What’s the difference between 12, 24, and 36-frame 360 spins?” The more frames in the spin, the smoother the product will appear as it rotates. We find that most of our clients do perfectly fine with 12 or 24-spin 360 images.

What you’ll get for your money
All photography charge will be based on the time it takes us to get you the photos you want.
Processing of all your images there’s no additional charge for standard processing which includes editing for colour balance, brightness, basic sharpening and, if necessary corrections for geometry. In general it takes us (at least) as long to process your images as it does to take them.
Supply of ALL the images taken as JPEGs and sent electronically. We believe you should have the opportunity to choose from a wide selection of images, although we’ll not send you anything that we don’t consider to be of an excellent technical standard.
We will usually supply high resolution JPEG files at a ‘print ready’ resolution of 300ppi. Other file formats – PSD, PSB or TIFF are available on request (an additional charge may be made).
What you pay for
The prices quoted above are an ‘all inclusive’ price, we will not make any additional charges for standard processing.
Our time to take your photographs your costs are based on how long it takes us to shoot your images.
Our time to process your images they will be cropped, edited for colour balance, basic sharpening and, as necessary, corrected for geometry and in general it takes (at least) as long to process/edit your images as it does to take them. There are no extra charges for processing.
We supply your high resolution images usually electronically, but CDs/DVDs are available on request.
A license/the right to use your images – we do not normally place any time restrictions on how long you can use the images or how many times you use them, BUT there may be restrictions on HOW you use them and these will be detailed in your quote (this restriction usually only applies to large scale, world-wide, non-web advertising campaigns)
Processing costs
Basic image processing – cropping, editing for colour balance, basic sharpening and corrections for geometry – is included in the price you pay for us to take your photos.
Enhanced image processing and Photoshop work. If required is charged at £80 per hour or part thereof
We do not offer a cut-out service, as we believe you can source this elsewhere at a much more competitive price than we are able to offer.
Expenses
Any expenses will be clearly detailed on your quote,
We charge mileage for all projects outside of Wolverhampton at 0.65p per mile
We charge travel time for all projects over 2 hours away from our base in Wolverhampton. We charge nothing for the first 2 hours (in each direction) then 30.00 for each additional hour (in each direction) rounded up to the full hour
Hotels and expenses (if required) are charged at cost
